The Role of Senior Commercial Marketing Executive (Halo Accounts)
In this exciting position, you will be the driving force behind the coordination and execution of impactful brand experiences within London's elite on-trade accounts. Your focus will be on aligning brand activations with consumer demand, shopper insights, data analytics, and channel objectives to foster significant growth for our customers, the category, and Suntory Global Spirits. You will be entrusted with managing departmental budgets and delivering customer marketing initiatives that cultivate desirability and ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
You will be the on-the-ground ambassador for our brands in premier venues such as The Savoy, Caprice Group, The Connaught, Nobu, Sexy Fish, exclusive 5-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and Top 50 Bars. Your work will be crucial in ensuring our brands resonate with consumers and deliver commercial success for the organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating the seamless delivery of activations, ensuring timely and complete execution of assets and POS materials.
- Implementing and driving the Commercial Marketing Strategy across your designated London Halo accounts.
- Partnering closely with customers to support their success and highlight the value our brands bring to their performance.
- Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to execute strategic partnerships and activations within your accounts.
- Supporting the development and delivery of the activation calendar around key brand moments.
- Managing the development and execution of innovation launch plans within the London Halo segment.
- Continuously evaluating performance against KPIs, conducting campaign reviews, and applying a test-and-learn methodology for ongoing optimization and demonstrable ROI.
- Gathering insights on activation reception from customers and consumers, and feeding this back to the Insights & Reporting Manager.
- Proactively researching and sharing insights on competitor activities and best practices from the wider FMCG industry.
- Contributing to future business brand planning and strategy to drive growth across our range and innovation pipeline.
- Focusing on delivering value to customers, especially during key trading periods and projects, while supporting other channels.
- Ensuring strict adherence to the BI budget and promptly flagging any delivery risks or potential overspends.
- Liaising effectively with key internal stakeholders, including Sales, Finance, Logistics, Culture, and Marketing.
What We're Looking For:
- 2-3+ years of experience in Trade/Commercial Marketing, ideally within the FMCG or Spirits/Drinks industry.
- Proven experience in planning and executing successful brand activations across a variety of customer types, balancing business needs with customer requirements.
- Solid understanding of the UK On-Trade and Off-Trade landscapes.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A good grasp of the role of category data and insights, coupled with data analytics capabilities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, effective both internally, externally, and across cross-functional teams.
- An action-oriented, output-driven mindset focused on achieving ambitious targets.

- Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in embracing new challenges and developing new networks, embodying an entrepreneurial spirit.
