Senior Go To Market Proposition Manager

Join us as a Senior Go To Market Propositions Manager, where youll shape and execute go-to-market strategies that accelerate growth across Barclaycard Payments products and solutions for our SME customers. Youll translate customer needs, product capability, market opportunity and regulatory considerations into compelling, customer-led propositions that drive commercial value. Working at the centre of Product, Sales, Marketing, Risk and Operations, youll ensure propositions are launched effectively, positioned competitively, and supported by clear commercial and sales enablement plans. Youll own the end-to-end GTM lifecycle, from market and segment insight through to launch execution and ongoing performance optimisation. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, requiring a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, routes to market, and the needs of merchants and partners.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

Recent background in merchant acquiring, fintech, or payments acquiring.

Proven involvement in shaping and launching customer product or propositions across ecommerce and point of sale, including working with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in a customer-centric way.

Demonstrated delivery across multiple routes to market, including direct sales, digital, and self-serve channels.

Ability to work effectively within cross-functional, matrixed organisations.

Desirable Skills / Preferred Qualifications:

In depth knowledge of the ISV market

Strong customer/merchant segmentation and customer journey expertise

Experience enabling partner channels (ISVs, affiliates, web developers)

This role is based in London.

Purpose of the role

To develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service.

Accountabilities

Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage. .Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
