• Cisco Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Cisco networking, including ACI and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Certification/Experience: CCNP Routing & Switching certification or equivalent practical experience is highly valued.
• Core Networking Concepts: Proficiency in TCP/IP, LAN/WAN technologies, VPNs, and wireless networking.
• Security Awareness: A solid understanding of firewall functionalities at a generic level.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with server hardware and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Data Centre Acumen: Understanding of data centre operations, including cabling and patching best practices.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with network monitoring tools and ServiceNow.
