About the role

Our Property Team is looking for an Underwriter to deepen the existing client base for UK, Ireland and International wholesale markets, support new client acquisition and provide high-quality deal analysis pursuing growth opportunities in cooperation with internal teams such as Claims, Risk Engineering, Business Services etc. You should have experience in underwriting both Multinational and Domestic Large and Medium Sized Corporates or Real Estate/Property owners.

Underwrite for existing and new clients

Analyse business opportunities using tools combined with underwriting judgement

Establish and maintain a network of brokers and clients

Ensure compliance with all internal guidelines, underwriting and pricing parameters, best practices as well as Code of Conduct

Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial reporting

About you

We are looking for an open-minded, trustworthy and enthusiastic team player who can constructively and respectfully engage in challenging conversations. To be successful, you need to have strong communication, negotiation and partnering skills. Are you at ease with leaving the comfort zone and performing under pressure? Do you consider yourself to be a "self-starter", able and willing to take initiative and implement measures in a goal-oriented manner with:

Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in real estate and/or property underwriting of medium to large corporates

Good numeracy skills as well as good PC and software skills

Ability to handle multiple deals in parallel without losing oversight

High level of productivity and will to deliver
