Senior Teaching Fellow in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Job at University of Leeds in Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS2

This role will be based on the university campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Would you like the opportunity to lead on the development and implementation of a CBT Pathway within a Doctorate Programme in Clinical Psychology? Are you enthusiastic about contributing to the enhancement of a well established and esteemed clinical psychology training Programme? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional training experience for future clinical psychologists? Are you committed to fostering a supportive and engaging environment for trainees, supervisors, and other stakeholders?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established DClinPsy programme at the University of Leeds and shape training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). The role will play a key role in supporting a new pathway offering trainees accreditation by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). This reflects a national priority for secondary accreditation in evidence-based therapies within clinical psychology training programmes, with CBT being a key area of focus.

Leeds has a longstanding and highly regarded clinical psychology training programme. We are a close knit, friendly and supportive team, with excellent links with clinical and expert by experience colleagues in West Yorkshire.

The post holder will work closely with the programme team including the programme directors, academic director, and Regional Training Lead, as well as our local NHS colleagues, to support and enhance all aspects of the CBT Pathway. They will be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of CBT teaching, supporting trainees working towards BABCP accreditation and clinical supervisors involved in the Pathway. They will also support assessment processes and contribute to marking.
