Key Considerations for Aspiring Candidates:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in financial planning. Key qualifications and experience include:

  • A financial planning qualification at RDR Level 4 or above, including certification in advising on packaged products.
  • Proven experience in offering personalised planning and investment advice, underpinned by a solid understanding of financial markets, products, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in utilizing digital tools to enhance client engagement and a strong ability to communicate effectively, building trust and rapport.
  • A meticulous approach to identifying and managing risk, with a steadfast commitment to compliance.

Additionally, candidates with the following skills will find their experience particularly valued:

  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external networks to foster client relationship growth.
  • Broad knowledge of the Financial Services industry, with a focus on retail regulated products and asset management.
  • Familiarity with pensions, investment advice, and UK taxation.
  • FCA-approved status and experience in managing risk within client portfolios.
  • Adaptability and a curious mindset to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry.

The purpose of this role is to establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients, acting as a vital link between the bank's offerings and client needs for mutual long-term success.

Key accountabilities include managing client relationships, analyzing financial data to identify trends and client needs, researching industry landscapes, designing customized solutions, communicating value propositions, providing expert financial guidance, assessing and mitigating risks, documenting client interactions, and monitoring client satisfaction and revenue metrics.
