Skilled PSV Shift Fitter reference: JR10049

Salary £50k per annum Do you take pride in your work? We are looking for a friendly, flexible and reliable Skilled Shift Fitter who is able to work on their own initiative and will enjoy being part of a friendly and dedicated team. As a Skilled Shift Fitter you would work a variety of shifts on a 5 days out of 7 basis and your role would include maintaining and repairing the Company's vehicles to the strict standards set by both Stagecoach and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) We can offer: · Competitive rates of pay – Circa £50k per annum! · Guaranteed 40 hours per week, (this includes some Sat, Sun and Public Holiday working depending on shift rotas – paid at enhanced hourly rates) · Overtime available · Excellent company benefits - Paid holidays, pension, death in service, etc. · Travel pass for you and your partner · Opportunities for advancement Duties and responsibilities: · Repairing and maintaining the Company's fleet of modern vehicles to a high standard · Carrying out preventative and proactive maintenance in line with Company policies · Carrying out roadside and running repairs as necessary · Adhering to Company Health & Safety policies Training and qualifications: You should ideally be qualified to the following level: · City & Guilds Level 3 – PSV or HGV · NVQ Level 3 Engineering – PSV or HGV · BTEC · Competent using diagnostic tools & equipment Other Information The Company offers overalls, safety boots and full PPE kit as standard Stagecoach workplace culture is one where everyone can be themselves and where all the differences our people bring to the business are celebrated.
