Job Description JOB TITLE: Lead Technical Application Specialist SALARY: £90,440 - £106,400 LOCATION: Edinburgh or Leeds HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in one of the above offices. About this opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Technical Application Specialist to join the Platform Savings Lab Individual (FNZ) in the Accumulations platform. This is a leadership role overseeing the specialist function and driving pivotal initiatives within the group. You are responsible for: Define strategic direction for the specialist function Manage a team of specialists, including resource allocation and performance management. Represent the specialist function in high-level meetings and decision-making processes Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the specialist area Build relationships with external partners and vendors Contribute to organizational strategy and budgeting Oversee resource planning and allocation for the specialistfunction Develop and implement policies and procedures for the specialist area Lead strategic negotiations with key stakeholders and vendors Identify and develop strategic partnerships and collaborations Ensure alignment of specialist activities with overall business goals. What you’ll need In depth experience of using the FNZ platform. Deep understanding of financial services, retirement products and investments. Requirement capture, analysis and documentation for all stages of implementation. Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team including working with external parties. It would be great if you also had An understanding of SQL, XML and JSON. An understanding of the functions of APIs and their uses. Specific experience in Client Investment Documents and Pension Illustrations.
