Job Description JOB TITLE: Technical Application Specialist SALARY: £70,929 – £78,810 LOCATION(S): Bristol HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours per week WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Bristol office. About this opportunity We’re on a mission to transform how engineers across Lloyds Banking Group discover and use information, and we need brilliant designers to help us do it. Our Engineering Persona Journeys team, part of the Productivity Services Lab within the Engineering Platform, are focusing on the experience of all our engineers, resolving issues and optimising services to provide an industry leading experience for our engineers to develop in. Our team is focused on making the process, access, software and hardware available to our engineers at the right time, easily and efficiently. We’re going to source, so we can understand what that really looks like on a day to day basis, understanding perceptions, resolving issue and empowering our colleagues through intuitive, reliable and engaging experiences. What you’ll do Developing and delivering solution: Develop and support solutions, balancing priorities and identifying risks, monitoring budget and ensuring adherence to group standards. Analytics: input into the creation of Key Performance Indicators and other metrics, monitoring and reporting on these. Technical Expertise: Apply own technical expertise to task sharing knowledge, coaching and mentoring others. Integration and Coordination: Identify and coordinate dependencies, work with wider collaborators to ensure interlock Maintain Focus: Communicates shirt term objectives to the team, identify blockers to delivery and, where possible, mitigate or resolve them, raising to integrators or product owners when required Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, applying this to our content ensuring our designs are ground breaking. What you’ll need Significant experience in delivering technical solutions in an Agile environment. Experience in allocating resources to tasks, balancing priorities, and handling dependencies between teams Ability to think strategically and creatively to address complex challenges and provide innovative solutions Able to influence others with strong communication and collaboration skills. Adaptable able to use & learn new skills & knowledge in varying circumstances and are comfortable providing recommendations and thought leadership using your own judgment.
