Join us as a Technical Delivery Manager, to oversee and drive technology change programs that deliver critical business outcomes. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of technology solutions, governance, and transformation efforts that support our strategic goals.

This role involves coordinating large-scale technology change processes, ensuring robust governance, and fostering collaboration across stakeholders. Youll play a key role in translating business requirements into actionable technical deliverables, while maintaining high standards of risk oversight and compliance.

To be successful as a Technical Delivery Manager, you should have experience with:

Extensive experience in interpreting business requirements and creating technical user stories and process maps.Excellent stakeholder engagement, interpersonal and communication skills, with a forward-thinking mindset and sense of accountability.Experience in overseeing technology change governance: release governance, RAIDs, financial, status reporting.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

Demonstrated ability in sound judgment and problem-solving, especially in high-pressure scenarios.In-depth knowledge of the banking domain with a solid understanding of underpinning technical applications and system integrations.Previous experience in Agile ways of working with cross-functional teams including technology, business and third-party vendors.​

This role will be based in Northampton.

Purpose of the role

To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the banks technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.

Accountabilities

Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
