Job Description Technical Programme Lead – Composites technology Centre Full time 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home (Office could include our partnership sites in Bristol) What you will be doing As a Project Lead you would be supporting the Programme Manager with the co-ordination of Engineering projects, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and other key business stakeholders to support the delivery of key programme milestones thus enabling the delivery of our composite strategy. Other responsibilities can include being responsible for project planning, risk management, managing budgets related to your programmes of work and leading integrated teams to deliver the projects you are responsible for. Responsibilities You’ll be leading several existing and new projects within the composite business area, managing projects within defence and our partner site at the NCC (Formerly the National Composite Centre). Be accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work by implementing project management best practice in line with company management processes Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work and provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work, Develop your project management skills through the creation and management of an integrated set of plans/schedules through to the operation of the project management systems, tools, and methods Understand the technical information to be able to make informed decisions of the project direction. Demonstrate a passion and desire to grow within project management in the composite industry, with project management experience/qualifications desirable but not essential. General understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to their business and general awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business. Desire to learn new software and application if not currently experience in the following applications, Primavera P6 planning, MS project, PowerBi, PowerApps, Power Automate and SAP Control account manager.
