About the Role The Technology Excellence Engagement Lead will work with the DBS Optimisation Director to build, plan and own ongoing community and engagement initiatives, as well as supporting strategic TechX optimisation in DBS through aiding the rollout of tools to help teams in their efficiency efforts. The role will focus on working with colleagues within DBS as well as equivalent SMEs across Technology, building relationships and leveraging best practice to support the Elsevier goal of building an agile and sustainable culture. If you wish to apply please upload a cv and cover letter Responsibilities Supporting DBS Optimisation Director, in their capacity as TechX representative, with initiatives aimed at supporting optimisation, efficiency and productivity. Owning key DBS engagement activities that support strategic OKRs, including global team meeting coordination, local learning and knowledge-sharing activities (e.g. highlighting and encouraging reuse) and driving implementation of DBS EOS action plans through leading colleague working group. Developing and maintaining strategy for communication within DBS and represent DBS at internal communications forums, identifying opportunities to showcase DBS successes. Performing moderately complex data analysis on extensive and confidential data sets, including EOS, OfficeVibe and Trusted Partner Survey results Supporting Optimisation Director in coordination of DBS-wide learning initiatives and tracking of completion, including support for embedding Accessibility skills Working between on-site, remote and global DBS teams to ensure requirements are being met Requirements Have an in depth understanding of the importance of strategic change for culture and engagement and the value they bring to a global organisation - demonstrates high EQ Be goal-focused, self-motivated and resilient individual, able to work independently and bring well-considered proposals for consideration Be highly adaptable to changing needs of organisation - and able to pivot their approach to meet those evolving needs Proactive and 'big-picture' approach to, and genuine curiosity for, problem-solving - energised by spotting opportunities for continuous improvement Highly adaptable verbal and written communication and facilitation skills that allow for effective engagement across all levels of the organization, including confidence engaging with senior leaders Ability to build trust quickly and with authenticity, leveraging network across DBS and wider the Technology organisation to support delivery of DBS and TechX goals Work in a way that works for you We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
