Therapeutic Area Manager Rare Diseases

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of rare diseases? As a Therapeutic Area Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing brand strategies within your assigned brands in Rare Disease Business Unit. Your role will involve coordinating market activities across countries, mapping patient journeys, and addressing gaps to enhance patient outcomes. This is an opportunity to lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic objectives that truly make a difference.

Accountabilities:

Brand management

Participate in the yearly brand planning business process for the country.

Ensure and manage the preparation and local signoffs of all marketing materials, including PROMOMATS uploads.

Develop localized campaigns and detail aids as required.

Manage local production, PR, and other agencies providing relevant services.

Generate market insights with the Local Implementation team.

Create and localize promotional/educational content as needed.

Plan segmentation and targeting.

Manage relationships with local KEEs in collaboration with Medical.

Business management

Analyze development and trends in the country.

Stay updated on the health political environment's development.

Develop, implement, and evaluate plans for accounts in collaboration with the cross-functional team.

Responsible for key customers in the country

Visit key customers, dedicating 30% of FTE to customer interactions to drive portfolio uptake and achieve strategic objectives.

Ensure tasks meet quality standards and comply with legal requirements and internal standards.

Be accountable for the team's competence level and compliance with legal requirements and internal standards.

Essential Skills/Experience

Demonstrated Pharma marketing and sales experience

Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent

Good knowledge in market ethical rules

Excellent communication skills

Experience with budgeting and global strategy implementation

Ability to communicate and transfer advance scientific data

Ease in networking and working in cross functional set up

Ability to communicate with high-end stakeholders

Excellent knowledge of the English language

Negotiation skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

Experience from a multicultural business environment

MBA or equivalent

Leadership experience
