About the Role: The Editor will edit and rewrite copy from the London and Brussels bureaus across various MLex services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. They will manage daily copy flow, prioritize stories, and turn around urgent copy quickly with support from the Europe Managing Editor and Deputy Managing Editor. The role also involves working with reporters to craft in-depth reporting, coaching them on the writing process, and preparing stories and images for the website Responsibilities: Edit and rewrite copy from London and Brussels bureaus across various MLex services Manage daily copy flow and prioritize stories Collaborate with reporters to craft in-depth reporting and commentary Coach and mentor reporters Contribute to developing MLex coverage and prepare stories and images for featured presentation on the website Requirements: Solid editing skills with attention to detail and accuracy Writing flair in both spot news and analysis Ability to write concise, punchy headlines and summaries Understanding of complex topics Multitasking and prioritization skills Social skills to work with and mentor reporters Work in a way that works for you     We promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
