This role is an immersive experience within the Toxicology Team, a vital part of BAT's Science and Regulatory Affairs function. You'll be instrumental in:

  • Developing and implementing in vitro toxicology approaches: Gain hands-on experience in modern scientific methodologies for product assessment.
  • Understanding the toxicological impact of ingredients and materials: Contribute to the critical evaluation of products across BAT's diverse portfolio.
  • Supporting risk assessments: Learn how to ensure products meet stringent internal standards and consumer safety requirements.
  • Driving innovation for new categories: Play a role in establishing risk assessment strategies for next-generation products, including vapour, heated, and oral products.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work alongside experts in Analytical Chemistry and Product Development to conduct vital research and refine risk assessment processes.
