We build solid relationships with research communities to ensure we offer exciting, interesting, and thought-provoking content About the Role As an In-House Senior Editor, you will oversee the creation and publication of original content. You will take ownership for overseeing submissions and quality peer reviews to ensure we publish high-quality content. You will build global relationships with people and institutes in the medical and research. Responsibilities Arranging peer review and commissioning content; Scanning medical literature and news to keep up-to-date with developments; Attending conferences and academic meetings, along with laboratory and institutional visits; Writing editorials, commissioning reviews and commentaries and publishing correspondence to build the journal profile among the communities we serve; Suggesting and helping to develop new initiatives for future developments and enhancements to our journal. Requirements Have a Medical degree with clinical experience or PhD in related field with postdoctoral experience; Demonstrate great knowledge of biological and medical sciences; Have an exceptional command of the English language and the ability to write in an engaging and interesting manner; Be able to communicate and negotiate constructively with members of the medical profession, the media and colleagues; Have proficiency with IT systems including MS Office; Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver successful projects and initiatives on-time; Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders, teams and our community; Be able to travel to internationally for meetings and conferences.
