The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) is known for its research, postgraduate studies and continuing education in the field of public and global health.
Our mission is to improve health and health equity in the UK and globally; working in partnership to achieve excellence in public and global health research, education and translation of knowledge into policy and practice.
We have 3,300 employees worldwide, have core hubs in London, and at the MRC Units in The Gambia and Uganda, which joined LSHTM in February 2018. Our excellent, diverse and dedicated employees make an impact where they are most needed-deploy research to respond to crises in real time, develop innovative plans for major health threats, or train the next generation of public and global health leaders and researchers.
