This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of an organisation committed to providing a secure and stable environment for young people aged 12-18 who are in the justice system.

At Oakhill, the focus is on rehabilitation and development, assisting young people in addressing complex social and emotional needs and fostering life skills. As an Administrator within the Safety Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of vital safety and compliance processes. • Collaborative Team: You will work closely with dedicated teams focused on safety and compliance, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere.

Key Considerations for Your Career Path:

  • Essential Skills: The success in this role hinges on your excellent administration and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Communication & Initiative: Strong written and verbal communication skills are paramount. The ability to work proactively, use your own initiative, and challenge where necessary will be highly valued.
  • Adaptability: The nature of working within a secure training centre means scenarios can change rapidly. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial to navigate these evolving situations effectively.
  • IT Proficiency: Excellent IT skills are a must, including experience with document creation and management software such as Canva and Google Docs.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: A core aspect of this role involves supporting the safeguarding and well-being of children and adults at risk. A commitment to these principles is essential.
  • DBS Clearance: Please note that the role requires enhanced level DBS security clearance and a minimum of 5 years of UK residency.

This Administrator (Safety) position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional looking to transition into a role that offers both professional growth and significant personal satisfaction.
