Job at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, LN1

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU) is located on a beautifully green and pleasant campus just a few minutes’ walk from Lincoln Cathedral, Castle, and the old Roman city. Our story began in the 1860s as an Anglican teacher training college for women, which makes us one of the oldest Higher Education Institutions in the UK. Since then, we've grown, adapted, and modernised to become the thriving university we are today. We're still experts in teaching and education, but we've now got a wider portfolio of exciting degree courses than ever before. We currently offer courses in a wide range of subjects, from Undergraduate Degree level to PhD, and much more in between.

We are seeking to appoint an Admissions Officer (International) to join our busy Admissions Team. The post will be responsible for supporting international applicants through the applicant journey including processing applications and issuing CAS. The role will also actively support the processing of home applications including offer making and interviews, to ensure the team delivers a high-quality experience for overseas and home students, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

You will have excellent organisation, planning and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.  You will ideally have experience of the international application and enrolment processes and knowledge of UKVI regulations.

This role may require occasional evening and weekend work, including events such as Open Days, Offer Holder Days, Clearing, etc.  These are general expectations of this position.
