As the Agency Servicing Lead at Barclays, you will manage and lead a high-performing team of professionals responsible for overseeing the agency-only investment banking loan portfolio post-onboarding. You will Oversee team workflow and act as direct point of contact for issue escalation & resolution develop and maintain excellent relationships with senior stakeholders Including a diverse set of business and infrastructure partners cross Investment Banking (IB) and other internal/external stakeholders.

To be successful as an Agency Servicing Lead, you should have experience with:

Previous leadership experience in an operational environment, ideally within Investment Banking or Loans Servicing.

Considerable knowledge of the loan market, syndicated loan structures and agency servicing models.

Prior experience with Loan IQ or similar loan servicing systems.

In-depth understanding of lending processes, trade lifecycle and operational controls.

Notable stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working at senior levels across front office, risk, legal, and operations teams.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role will be located at our London or Manchester office.

Purpose of the role

To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.

Accountabilities

Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.Monitoring the banks lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
