What You'll Be Doing:
As a Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the PMO services for the Currys Transformation Portfolio. You will work closely with the Lead Portfolio Manager, Head of Portfolio, Strategic Change & Portfolio Director, and Heads of Delivery to enhance governance controls and processes. Your primary objective will be to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programmes, meeting desired budget, quality, and timeline objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the portfolio's single source of truth using Planview, ensuring data accuracy for informed decision-making through consolidated reports, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Providing comprehensive Planview administration and support, including user management, data quality assurance, workflow configuration, and ongoing optimisation.
- Producing and maintaining core portfolio reporting for key meetings and stakeholders, leveraging Power BI for data extraction from Planview and designing tailored dashboards for senior leadership.
- Managing and driving data quality across the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management process, ensuring appropriate escalations and consolidation of common themes.
- Overseeing the Portfolio Roadmap and Plan, managing milestones, dependencies, and change initiatives.
- Managing the overall resource management process, collaborating with Tech and resource managers to analyse resource demand versus capacity.
- Ensuring robust Change Control across the portfolio, assessing the impact of changes on the Portfolio Plan and critical path.
- Directly supporting material preparation and scheduling for critical governance meetings, such as the fortnightly Currys Change Board and bi-weekly InvestCo.
- Identifying and driving opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, fostering efficiencies and best practices through coaching and training.
- Supporting yearly delivery prioritisation and budgeting cycles, utilising Planview for scenario modelling and Power BI for data visualisation.
- Undertaking delivery assurance reviews with delivery and project managers.
