This role presents a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a company deeply committed to its core values of Caring, Passionate, and Teamwork. At Care UK, the success of their exceptional care is built upon the strength of their people, and they are on a mission to find talented individuals to contribute to their ongoing journey.

Key Advantages for Potential Candidates:

  • Meaningful Contribution: Play a vital role in supporting colleagues to gain essential qualifications and contribute to the strategic direction of learning and development across a nationwide organization.
  • Flexible Working: This is a part-time role of 18.75 hours per week, offering an excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to contribute significantly without a full-time commitment.
  • Professional Growth: Gain exposure to various L&D initiatives, including apprenticeships, performance reviews, inductions, and events. This role provides a fantastic platform for continuous professional development.
  • Impactful Work: Directly influence the professional journeys of colleagues and, in turn, contribute to the exceptional care provided to residents. Your work will have a tangible and positive effect.

  • Career Advancement: Care UK is a growing organization, offering potential pathways for career progression for motivated individuals.

Key Considerations for Your Career Path:

You will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of the Apprenticeship and wider L&D strategy. This includes managing funding, nominations, supplier systems, and accurately maintaining records.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: A key aspect of this position is working effectively with Subject Matter Experts, Operators, and Suppliers to maximize the utilization of Levy funding. Strong communication and relationship-building skills will be essential.
  • Data and Reporting: You will be responsible for creating and communicating reports and key trends, providing valuable insights to operators to inform strategic decisions regarding their teams' development. Data analysis skills are therefore highly beneficial.
  • Proactive Engagement: Driving engagement through webinars, sharing resources, and raising awareness of apprenticeship opportunities will be crucial. A proactive and engaging approach is key to success.
  • Travel Requirement: The role requires the ability to travel to Care UK homes, which is an excellent opportunity to connect with various teams and understand the operational landscape.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile: While not explicitly stated as required, a background in a support function role and evidence of continuous professional development would be advantageous.

If you are a highly organized, proactive individual eager to contribute to a mission-driven organization and support the growth of others, this part-time Apprenticeships & Learning & Development Coordinator role at Care UK offers a rewarding and impactful career opportunity. Embrace the chance to make a real difference and let your potential flourish.
