This is an ideal opportunity for someone who:

Holds a BTEC Level 3 qualification in a construction or technical related discipline.Thrives in planning and organising work and solving technical challenges.Has strong IT skills and basic project management knowledge.

Key responsibilities:

Prepare drawings, designs and contract documents to support the delivery of various engineering projects.Supervise work under appropriate direction to ensure quality, cost and time requirements are met.Assist with surveys, risk assessments and technical studies for project development.Handle enquiries, providing effective resolution or guidance and work collaboratively with internal teams and external parties to ensure successful project outcomes.

It is not essential that you have worked for a Council or the public sector previously, as appropriate mentoring and training will be provided.

This includes a training agreement with the Institution of Civil Engineers to coordinate both the academic and practical training leading to a professional qualification: either EngTech MICE, or IEng MICE, or CEng MICE.
