If so, this Associate role in our Settlement Processing team could be the perfect opportunity for you, this is a 12 Months FTC (Fixed Term Contract) role The Settlement Processing team sits within Central Finance, and is responsible for processing payments on behalf of the Lloyd market. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone leaving full time education and looking for their first role, as no previous experience is required. As a Settlement Processing team member, you will be responsible for: Processing daily settlement transactions Processing transactions for the Corporation, Overseas and Members Services Managing the Letter of Credit Scheme for the Lloyd's Market, coordinating with Xchanging, Citibank and Mendes and Mount to fulfil the requests from the brokers and beneficiaries. Reporting Cashflow into Quantum to avoid potential overdrafts. Reconciling bank accounts on a daily/monthly basis. Posting bank entries into Workday to facilitate a timely close process. Responding to queries from both internal and external stakeholders in a prompt and professional manner. Assisting in Business Continuity tests as required. Analysing problems, identifying and implementing new solutions for non-standard business requirements. Reviewing processes for improved controls, checks and efficiencies. Providing support across other Finance Operations teams as required. To be successful in this role, you will need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
