This position operates on an early/late shift pattern, involving a mixture of shifts (5:45 am - 2 pm and 1:45 pm - 10 pm) and working one in three weekends. Essential qualifications for this role include:

  • A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • An ONC/HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering field.
  • Proven experience with Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with PLC, HMI, Robotic, and Automation systems (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA, WinCC, Schneider, Staubli).

While not essential, the following would be advantageous for your candidacy and future growth within the role:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • PLC programming certification.
  • Experience with Windows Operating Systems and SQL.
  • Familiarity with industrial networks such as Industrial Ethernet/PROFINET.
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience and an understanding of cGMP maintenance practices.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body.
