Were looking for a Business Information Security Manager to join our Information Security team and help keep Co-op safe as we grow and evolve. In this role, youll make sure security and risk impacts from our business strategy and operations are understood, and that our security frameworks support us in achieving our ambitious goals.
Youll work closely with leaders across the business and technology teams, helping them understand their responsibilities when it comes to information security. Youll also define and share security requirements for projects and ongoing changes, making sure everything aligns with our policies and the bigger picture.

What youll do
Work with business and technology teams to influence, support, and challenge decisions so we meet our security objectives Help business owners understand which risks are worth taking to achieve their goals Build a strong understanding of our information security policies and standards Partner with our security and technology colleagues to identify, assess, and manage risks from business processes or change projects Collaborate with our digital technology and data leaders to make sure security responsibilities are clear and always acted on Mentor and support colleagues to grow their knowledge and confidence in information securityWhat youll bring
Experience in Information Security or Technology The ability to build strong relationships and guide senior leaders on security and technology decisions A solid understanding of information security fundamentals A passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest security developments Great communication skills, with the ability to make complex topics simple and clear Strong problem-solving and influencing skills, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesWe know some people may hesitate to apply if they dont meet every requirement.
