Role Overview

Working within the hotel Procurement team, this role will manage the day-to-day purchasing activity of Goods and/or services that support the CUK fleet of 11 Cruise ships and business across P&O and Cunard Brands.   

Our Hotel Procurement team have never been a more important part of our business, keeping our fleet fully supported from flowers to chemicals, crockery to uniform – we source it all.

This pivotal role will involve:

Responsible for the full end to end purchasing process from sourcing against a definition of need (Requisition / specification) through to confirmation of delivery and supplier payment. This is achieved through collaborating closely with the various business partners from product specialists, through supply chain, logistics and ship staff. Utilise agreed Corporate or Local price agreements to obtain best efficiency and cost savings for the overall benefit of CUK and Carnival Corporation.  Instigate and conduct supplier meetings where appropriate to support operational objectives. Preparing, issuing and evaluating tenders and other procurement documentation.  Work with other Supply Chain staff and operational / product teams to support and implement the agreed sourcing strategies across selected categories, ensuring quality, price and supply logistics meet our business needs.  Supported by others, conduct regular analysis of supplier spend and volume data, reducing overall supply chain costs or leveraging spends where scale allow

This role is positioned at CUK09 level within our organization and is available on a full-time, permanent  basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Purchasing experience with knowledge of purchasing systems and processes  Experience of managing suppliers & project management Good/up to date knowledge of MS-Office with strong excel skills  Purchasing or Supply Professional Qualification (CIPs) desirable but not essential.
