At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a CAFM Administrator at our Devonport Royal Dockyard site.

The role As a CAFM Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in managing and overseeing maintenance data for Dockyard assets using the CAFM system. You'll empower users through training, maintain system records, and deliver valuable reports that support business success.

Day-to-day, you’ll Maintain the CAFM office filing system for all incoming hard copy documents, including, but not limited to, closed work orders.

Monitor the Electronic Maintenance Archiving inbox and action items promptly. Record returned work orders in CAFM for seamless maintenance planning. Manage archiving of completed work orders and Wholesale Automated Distribution System (WADS) in Nuclear Documentation Management System (NDMS) as the Nuclear Archive Licensee for CAFM. Provide data on work order statuses, including closed work orders, from the CAFM system. Relay feedback on the archiving process to CAFM/Asset Managers and escalate issues when necessary.

This role is full time 35, hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Essential experience of the CAFM Administrator

Previous experience in an administration role or completion of a Level 2 Business and Administration Apprenticeship. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively. Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and general computer literacy. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a logical approach. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications for the CAFM Administrator

GCSE English, GCSE Maths at grade C or above. NVQ level 2 Business and Administration.

Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
