Job Description Capability Lead Configuration and Data Management Defence UK Full time Bristol What you will be doing The Chief of Data Management and Configuration (DMC) leads the Configuration and Mass Property Management capability development and deployment for the Defence UK business. Responsibilities As a Defence UK Capability Lead you’ll be: Providing technical leadership to the Bristol based DMC team and ensure compliance to process throughout the life cycle activity Creating and maintaining local resource plans and driving team delivery to meet the agreed group engineering deliverables Owning the definition and implementation of the DMC capability for the Defence UK business Leading and developing the members of the team within and beyond their respective disciplines, including individual and professional development, training, performance and reward management, HSE and security Ensuring staff are suitably qualified and experienced and that the required skills are sustainable for the future through: multi-skilling, staff rotation, and the competency framework tools and professional networks and standards Leading and driving efficiency through process review, teamwork and implementing continuous improvement and operational best practice within the field of work.
