We are looking for an inspiring and strategic leader to manage and progress the development of our Library content, collections, and discovery systems at Middlesex University.
As a senior member of the Library Services and Digital Skills Education directorate within Digital and Library Services, you will oversee the planning, delivery, and innovation of a collections service that is customer-focused, cost-effective, and highly efficient. You will ensure our resources anticipate the current and future needs of the academic community across learning, teaching, and research. You will act as the business owner for our key library management systems (currently Alma and Primo) and reading list system (currently Keylinks), liaising with technical product specialists to ensure user experience and system development.
Your role involves taking strategic ownership of complex licensing, procurement, and supplier relationships to ensure value for money and seamless online access for all users. Furthermore, you will play a key part in supporting our overseas campuses and collaborative partners.
