About your role: We are looking for a Continuous Business Improvement Analyst to join our team! As a Continuous Business Improvement Analyst, you will be working closely with the Optimisation planning, Short-Term Planning, Demand Management, and Customer Delivery teams. Youâll be responsible for creating the performance narrative for the Customer Delivery function, highlighting areas of poor performance, and performing root cause analyses to diagnose problems and identify improvements. Your performance narrative will support the Exec and Planning Leadership Team in making decisions to improve business performance, with both forward-looking and backward-looking diagnostics. Location: There will be a requirement to be in our Stockport (SK1 2GT) or Leeds (LS11 5BD) offices for circa 1-2 days per week. Your responsibilities: Assess performance against chosen target metrics to support leadership insight and decision-making based on actual performance. Measure and embed core metrics and principles. Work with the Optimisation planning team to roll out insight tools to Customer Delivery teams and support their embedment. Establish effective performance rhythms across Customer Delivery and interfaces with Field performance and operation teams. Perform deep dive diagnostics into performance issues to identify root causes and potential solutions, then work with Field/Customer Delivery colleagues to implement solutions. Here's what weâre looking for: Experience in presenting data in suitable formats for each level of the business up to Exec level. Strong stakeholder management skills. Root causation and complex problem-solving techniques. Analytical thinking and positive disruption. Ability to step back from the detail and see the bigger picture. Strong in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Databricks). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Build and automated reporting to support performance improvements. Ability to focus on the finer details while maintaining a big-picture perspective. Takes initiative to identify and address issues before they become problems. Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities and environments. Enhance the effectiveness of the Customer Delivery function via targeted interventions in identified areas of poor performance.
