What the day will look like

Based within Griffiths & Armour’s Professional Risks Division, the role will consist of:

Reading and reviewing contracts (largely construction contracts) for Griffiths & Armour’s clients.Providing advice, assistance and recommendations to Griffith & Armour’s clients in relation to those contracts.Providing support to client facing brokers within the business.Building relationships with clients.Getting involved in drafting, developing and delivering risk management literature, statistics and presentations.Carrying out other duties and jobs which management may, from time to time, reasonably require.

Full training will be provided, but legal experience is a requirement.

 

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Strong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organisation skills (including the ability to effectively manage own workload)Disciplined, conscientious approach to workAbility to manage time well and prioritise tasksStrong attention to detailStrong legal experience and/or legal qualificationsAbility to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information appropriatelyProficient Microsoft OfficeExcellent team playerExperienced in a client facing roleStrong interpersonal skillsA demonstrable interest in construction law and/or the construction industryKnowledge of legal/engineering languageBusiness awareness
