About the practice: The DAA practice represents a growing capability within Atos and currently comprises a talented team of analysts, developers, consultants and architects covering all aspects of the information management lifecycle; from data management through to business intelligence and analytics. The practice is technology agnostic and has capability across a range of technologies, including products from SAP, Oracle, IBM and Microsoft as well as more specialist technology providers such as Qliktech, Informatica, Talend, Cloudera and Infoshare.

Responsibilities:

We require a Data Management Lead to support the delivery of projects undertaken by the DAA practice.

The role will involve the following:-

Input into or sole definition of Physical Data Models Design and delivery of data mapping rules detailing the transformation of data from source to target Design of ETL routines and standards to deliver the data management solution Team lead for teams of ETL Developers (and possibly other members of the project team) to support the above work Code reviews of colleague’s ETL routines Involvement in pre-sales and bid efforts to define, document and explain BI data management solutions and responses to questions (future) Acting as design authority for small BI and Data Management application projects Client facing role working through requirements gathering to deliver the data management solution Definition and estimation of the effort to deliver the data management solution

Essential Criteria:

Significant and demonstrable experience in the use of at least 2 leading ETL tools across multiple projects including Azure technology

· Demonstrable experience in leading teams of developers

· In-depth knowledge of Inmon and Kimball data warehouse designs including the use of slowly changing dimensions

· Demonstrate experience across a range of relational and database technology

Must be able to demonstrate good analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving

· Pragmatic and detail orientated

· Excellent organisational and co-ordination skills

· Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing Desirable Criteria:

Demonstrate a good understanding of data quality and data quality/profiling tools that support this A good understanding of Master Data Management theory and application and the tools that support this Experience of at least one BI tool Experience of leading an ETL development team
