We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Technical Services Manger to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation.About the RoleBe an essential part of the Technical Services management team ensuring the safe and compliant operation and maintenance of all in-scope M&E, building services and fabric equipment on the site.Co-ordinate resources – both direct and sub-contracted - to ensure delivery of the Planned Preventative Maintenance program.Working with the Technical Services Manager, deliver statutory and contractual compliance, budgetary control, supplier and contractor management, Sodexo Framework adoption and team training and competencies.Develop multiple client stakeholder relationships in the Technical community across site, ensuring each is fully engaged.Delivery of the Technical scope, actively and clearly managing the operational activities, ensuring opportunities for development are taken and changes controlled and implemented.Management and updating of the Sodexo Health & Safety systems and processes including, Permit to Work, Contractor management, training and auditsWhat Were Looking ForEngineering competence with NVQ level 4 or equivalent qualifications with a bias towards building facilities / HVAC systems.IOSH Managing SafetyDemonstrated technical skills, with knowledge of engineering compliance and engineering standards best practiceDemonstrated people management experience aligned to comply with health and safety standards and safe systems of workDemonstrated ability to prioritise and problem solve technical issues, often under pressure, utilising innovative solutions as required.Able demonstrate building effective working relations with staff members and external clients to the highest levelExperience of successfully delivering against contractual targets, PM schedules and KPIsExperience of managing complex multi-stakeholder relationships and delivering against associated contractual SLAsKnowledge of annual budgets relating to technical services expenditure.Demonstrate practical experience of working with a Helpdesk function and management of workflow requirements & proceduresExperience of delivering a service provision on a site where strong permit to work systems are in place and a deep knowledge of risk assessment techniques.Fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.Actively implements best practices and continuously reviews to improve service, creates a continuously improve work ethic.IT skills using Microsoft Office applications and Teams and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, experience of Maximo is desirableWhat We OfferA competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A supportive and inclusive work environment.The chance to make a difference in [specific impact area, e.g., client satisfaction, sustainability, or operational excellence].What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.
