WHAT TO EXPECT
Working in the Vehicle Design Programme Management team in the Creative Chapter, the Vehicle Design Programme Lead is the 'creative enabler’ for their programmes, driving the delivery of the Design Vision from concept to production with efficiency & clarity.
As the centre of the Vehicle Design team, the Vehicle Design Programme Lead will lead the delivery of their design programmes, ensuring all activities are in line with the Creative and business priorities, product creation & delivery systems are delivered on time. You shall be accountable for ensuring Vehicle Design activities are based on Agile Ways of Working, constantly striving to improve the performance of the team.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Drive and enable the Vehicle Design team to successfully deliver the Design Vision. Lead and manage all non-Creative activities to drive successful delivery of your programmes. This can include Core, SV, Accessories and/or Bespoke. Represent Vehicle Design at Vehicle/Group level, working closely with the wider V-Org, Product Engineering, Commercial and other Enterprise teams, to drive Vehicle Design alignment and collaboration of programme content, timing and gateways deliverable Ensure your programmes are resourced against gateway priorities and escalate resource issues to the appropriate stakeholders to mitigate risks against delivery. Guide the team within Creative, on physical and/or digital asset requirements, based on your programme/s deliverables, affordability, value and purpose.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Experienced at planning, monitoring and delivering programmes and projects. Be able to thrive within a creative and collaborative environment. Product development awareness to enable prioritisation of key issues. Risk, issues and impediments management skillset. Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation.
