We are seeking to appoint a Digital Learning Officer to join the Health E-learning and Media (HELM) team in the School of Health Sciences, University of Nottingham.
The HELM team comprises academics and learning technologists and have an international reputation for e-learning development and research in healthcare education and practice.
The HELM team provides an important service within the School, developing and delivering high-quality and high-volume digital learning provision to all staff and students and work with a range of stakeholders both inside and outside of the School. The team has an excellent reputation as a provider of open healthcare resources and has an ethos of sharing and collaboration. The Digital Learning Officer is a key role within the HELM team. The successful candidate will provide support to staff and students in using digital learning systems, developing and maintaining module content for all courses, working closely with other members of the HELM team.
Candidates must have knowledge of virtual learning environments such as Moodle, MS 365 applications and skills in image and video editing software. They need to have excellent written and spoken communication skills, an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and the ability to work accurately under pressure and to meet tight deadlines. This position will be offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours. Job share arrangements may also be considered.
