The Domestic Payments and Receivables team is at the vanguard of a significant transformation, standardizing our domestic payments network approach. As a Domestic Payments Product Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our domestic payables proposition, driving the adoption of existing digital solutions while spearheading the design of future-state solutions and actively participating in the modernization journey.

Key Responsibilities and Opportunities:

  • Strategic Product Management: Lead the management of our existing traditional domestic payment solutions and the development of value-add solutions for a modernized target state.
  • Commercial Launch Leadership: Drive the commercial launch of new markets and capabilities by collaborating with country and regional Product Managers, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Implementations, Operations & Service, and Technology teams.
  • Client-Centric Innovation: Focus on delivering solutions that optimize client experience, minimize risk, and drive revenue, including leading cross-functional client validation workshops.
  • Global Network Management: Manage and enhance our global domestic payments network and solutions, deeply understanding the payments landscape and industry trends.
  • Modernization Advocacy: Serve as the business lead for modernization initiatives, guiding roadmap discussions and ensuring a comprehensive global standard is executed effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Global and cluster product teams, Technology, Operations, and Coverage teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of innovative product solutions.
  • Financial Acumen: Partner with Finance to evaluate product development investments, monitor and control billing/revenue, expenditure, and benefits realization, and lead Core Payments P&L monitoring.
  • Competitive Analysis: Dedicate time to tracking competition, market trends, and new technologies to maintain a strategic edge.
  • Risk Management: Demonstrate sound ethical judgment and adherence to policies, rules, and regulations in all business decisions, safeguarding the firm, its clients, and assets.

What We're Looking For in a Candidate:

  • Extensive Payments Experience: Significant relevant experience in payments, with a strong background in product management and client-facing roles.
  • Industry Insight: A thorough understanding of the payments landscape, commercialization strategies, payments processing, and risk and compliance management.
  • User Empathy: Experience and understanding of user experiences from both corporate and consumer perspectives.
  • Proactive & Driven: Demonstrated ability to self-direct work, meet deadlines, take initiative, and produce consistently high-quality results. A willingness to be a direct contributor and the capacity to multi-task are essential.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively advocate positions and influence teams.
  • Client-Centric Approach: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client experiences.
  • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical skills and a results-oriented approach with an appreciation for targets and deadlines.
  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
