E-Commerce Marketing Manager, Reuters Agency We envisage the successful candidate being based in London (UK). Please note this is 1 year fixed term contract maternity cover role. Reuters News Agency is looking for a talented E-Commerce Marketing Manager to oversee the marketing strategy and execution of campaigns for the Reuters Unified Marketplace, a pictures and video marketplace that enables online transactional sales. With a high volume of transactional sales, the Unified Marketplace revenue will be predominantly marketing-led and you will be responsible for organising, developing, and executing the site marketing plans. You will spearhead the strategies that drive traffic to the site to transact, and then encourage repeat purchases once customers are signed up. This role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager for News Agency Growth. About the Role As our E-Commerce Marketing Manager, Reuters Agency you will: Develop and implement eCommerce marketing strategies to increase traffic to the shopfront and individual items traffic, and conversion to online sales. Utilise SEO strategies to improve website ranking and online visibility. Create and oversee PPC campaigns to acquire new customers. Work across sales, marketing and product teams to align objectives. You'll use your existing knowledge to analyse customer behaviour using data and analytics tools to enhance digital marketing efforts. Design and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and drive repeat purchases. You'll identify product cross-promotion marketing opportunities to increase average order value and will monitor and report on key performance metrics to guide decision making. Stay updated on the latest eCommerce trends and technologies Oversee social media advertising to drive e-commerce sales and ensure high user experience standards by working closely with the product and design teams. Create impactful digital advertising and content marketing assets. Run A/B test to optimize user engagement and conversion rates. Manage and allocate the ecommerce marketing budget for maximum ROI. Write briefs and work closely with 3rd party agencies. You'll also work with Agency customer support and sales on feedback to better understand customer needs. Role objectives: Increase site traffic and engagement Enhance online sales conversion rates Improve SEO ranking and visibility Drive ROI for PPC campaigns Increase repeat purchase, customer lifetime value and average order value Reduce cart abandonment About You To be our eCommerce Marketing Manager you will likely have: Demonstrable experience of working in an e-commerce setting. Demonstrable experience of managing owned digital channels, and experience managing and delivering onsite optimization and website development. Experience in a marketing, data or product role, ideally at a media or publishing company The ability to identify the relevant information required to make a decision and present that information in a concise, logical manner Embody a âtest and learnâ mentality to drive results Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and generate buy-in from key stakeholders Experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a structured and logical way to ensure youâre always delivering the right work at the right time.
