The delivery of the Westinghouse UK Fuel Growth Program is essential to the future nuclear fuel products for all current and future reactor types and is a fundamental part of the UK Government’s Nuclear Roadmap and Net Zero 2050 commitment. The portfolio is fundamental to the Westinghouse UK Fuel long-term strategy and essential for the growth of Springfields Fuels site.

We are looking for an Environmental Data Analyst to join our expanding team. The Data Analysts main focus will be on compiling data and issuing statutory reports to the Environment Agency (EA) to demonstrate compliance with the site permits.

Skills and Competencies:

Have great attention to detail, be a problem solver and have a questioning attitude Be organised, a good communicator and a team player Prepare, analyse, consolidate, report, and present data / information Excellent knowledge and ability to use excel and Power BI Have an understanding of Environmental Permitting Regulations, and other relevant legislation or an ability to learn legislation and requirements needed for the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete reports in line with the agreed timescales required in the Environmental permits. Work closely other departments on site including laboratory personnel and Environmental monitoring personnel interact on a regular basis with the EA, including supporting audits and hosting visits from EA to check Site Environmental Compliance. Improve the reporting systems to minimise human error. Support the site with improvement initiatives.
