Embark on a pivotal administrative career with G4S Facilities Management as a Facilities Administrator. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum and is based at the picturesque Trinity Buoy Wharf in London, E14 0JW. Working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, this role is ideal for individuals seeking stability and a chance to contribute significantly to operational efficiency.

As a Facilities Administrator, you will be the backbone of support for the Tower Hamlets and Greenwich contracts. Your primary focus will be on ensuring seamless operations, with a critical emphasis on upholding stringent Health & Safety standards and fostering clear, effective communication across all levels. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure within a large, established organisation.

Key Responsibilities and Career Growth Opportunities:

  • Financial and HR Support: Gain valuable experience in managing essential financial processes using systems like Ariba/SAP, including raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices. You'll also support payroll and scheduling functions with Kronos/Pretium, and manage weekly agency cover. This hands-on experience is excellent for developing financial acumen and understanding HR operational workflows.

  • Operational Systems Management: Develop a keen eye for detail by maintaining accurate central office systems and records. Understanding contractual requirements and managing your workload effectively to meet deadlines are crucial skills that will enhance your project management and organizational abilities.

  • Contingency and General Support: Play a vital role in ensuring operational continuity by providing Help Desk support during critical periods. You'll also manage a wide range of administrative duties, from ordering supplies to coordinating uniforms and PPE, honing your multitasking and problem-solving skills.

  • Reporting and Leadership Potential: Contribute to the preparation of important internal and client reports, and gain experience in minute-taking. The opportunity to deputise for the Payroll/Office Manager provides a clear pathway for leadership development and demonstrates the trust placed in you.
