The role is within the University’s Finance Service, but it is located within the Faculty of Environment
This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you have experience of working in a fast-paced and complex financial environment? Are you looking for a challenging, busy but rewarding role in a large and diverse faculty? Are you able to work independently, to tight timescales, delivering a professional and supportive finance partnering service to a wide range of stakeholders?
We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual to work as a key member of the Faculty Finance Team. You will assist in the delivery of effective and efficient financial support across the faculty, providing guidance on financial processes, regulations, and best practice to all staff within specified areas. This is a vital role in which you will support the submission of a 5-year plan and quarterly forecasts for the faculty and its schools and play a lead role in the monthly reporting, forecasting and planning.
With a CCAB (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) qualification or be qualified by substantial relevant management accounting experience, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and build credibility and trust with a wide range of stakeholders.
