ROLE SUMMARY

The Sales Manager will be responsible for motivating and leading the Cardiovascular Metabolic/Respiratory teams to achieve the sales objectives through:

Execution Excellence being execution and results-focused, per compliance standards; setting ambitious expectations for accomplishment and ensuring others contribute to organization strategies by focusing them on the most critical priorities, measuring progress and ensuring accountability against those metrics.Coaching and Development coaching and developing others for success; providing feedback, instruction and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities; planning and supporting the development of individual skills and abilities.Ownership and accountability delegating and empowering others; identifying and leveraging opportunities to accelerate results and build capability by assigning tasks and decision-making responsibilities to individuals or teams with clear boundaries, expectations, support and follow-up.Networking and Partnerships building partnerships; developing and leveraging relationships internal and external with key stakeholders to ensure achieving resultsInnovation creating novel solutions with measurable value for existing and potential customers (internal or external); experimenting with new ways to solve work problems and seize opportunities that result in unique and differentiated solutions.

What youll do

Key Responsibilities Includes

Develop and align with his/her supervisor a territory plan that identifies short- and long-term objectives such as sales and market share objectives along with key customers, strategies, tactics and KPIs.Achieve targets by prioritizing strong financial performance and successfully deliveringn operational commitments.Have strong market analysis in terms of understanding market dynamics, segmentation, market penetration and expansion and allocate resources in way that achieves the objectives and maximizes ROIWork with the cross functional team to ensure we continue to win tenders, maximize advocacy and increase consumptionEstablish and develop strong relationships with key stakeholdersCoach an effective, efficient, and productive team by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies, and values are developed.Support his/her team members develop and progress in their careersCreate a culture of trust, embracing diversity and fostering collaboration between team members and internal stakeholders.Attract, recruit, develop and retain talentComply with AZ Core values and ethics.

Essential for the role

Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with proven track record of successLeadership skills to drive performance and build an inclusive, diverse and collaborative team cultureWinning mindset & drive for resultsStrong business acumen & analytical skillsStrategic thinking and planningExecution excellenceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer management and customer engagement skillsStrong cross functional collaborationProactivity & challenging the status quoCoachingOwnership, accountability, transparency and courage to speak upAbility to work under pressureAbility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace change.Business fluent in English and Arabic, in its oral and written form

Desirable for the role

Experience in both R&I and CVRM Therapy areas.Experience in Oman market.
