About the Opportunity

As a Foundry Operative, you will be instrumental in the meticulous production processes within the foundry. This role is designed for individuals who are hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to quality. You will receive comprehensive training across various foundry operations, equipping you with a diverse skill set. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembly and Operation: Building intricate wax pattern assemblies using a range of tools and equipment, and operating Muller-Phipps machines for precise part injection.
  • Process Management: Dewaxing coated assemblies, preparing them for casting, and working within process cells to operate machinery such as cut-off, grind, retech, and knock-out equipment.
  • Quality Assurance: Polishing and inspecting components to exact specifications using precision tooling, adhering strictly to written technique sheets and quality procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participating in and implementing improvement activities to enhance efficiency and quality.
