The Role: Driving Process Excellence

As a Process Operator at Etex, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent quality and stability of production processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting daily analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement and stability.
  • Collaborating closely with Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, and Engineering teams to meet product specifications.
  • Performing essential housekeeping duties to maintain equipment longevity, including proactive detection and reporting of any equipment anomalies.
  • Managing raw material replenishment, pallet offloading, and waste reduction initiatives during routine tasks.

To thrive in this role, Etex values candidates with a practical understanding of manufacturing environments and a proactive, team-oriented approach. Essential qualifications include:

  • Relevant work experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Solid foundational knowledge in English and Mathematics (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with computer systems, such as SAP.
  • A positive, "can-do" attitude, coupled with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Advantageous skills and experience that will set you apart:

  • Prior experience with quality testing and associated systems.
  • Knowledge of operational excellence principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., White Belt training).
  • Experience with shift work, including nights and 12-hour shifts.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Manufacturing Operations.
  • A valid FLT Counterbalance license.
