Weâre looking for a proactive and dependable Bus Depot Service Assistant Supervisor (Cleaning, Shunting & Refuelling) to join our team at Worthing depot. In this role, youâll work alongside a dedicated crew, helping to refuel, clean, and position our buses, while taking on a leadership role to make sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. What youâll be doing: Leading a small team of Fuellers/Shunters/Cleaners Supporting the team by stepping in to clean, refuel, and reposition vehicles when needed Organising daily task allocation and ensuring job sheets and reports are completed accurately Planning weekly shift cover, monitoring performance, and supporting improvements Ensuring all work meets health and safety requirements and depot standards Liaising with management to ensure a smooth and efficient depot operation What weâre looking for: A strong team player who also confident taking the lead A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team on the ground A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving A valid UK driving licence (weâll provide training to move vehicles within the depot) Good communication skills, both written and verbal Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends Why choose Stagecoach?
