General Services Manager - Catering and Hospitality

We have a fantastic opportunity available at LVS Oxford school to join our friendly team as General Services Manager.LVS Oxford is an autism specific day school with a welcoming environment. This role will require applicants to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and/ or Disclosure Scotland.What youll do:Effectively manage the Sodexo and LVS catering and housekeeping teams to ensure that exemplary services are provided at the schoolManage resources and promote an ethos of teamwork and to instil a culture of continuous improvementEnsure the financial aspects of catering and housekeeping operations are managed professionally and within the financial guidelinesMotivate, train and lead a high performing team to achieve their objectivesPlan and check that marketing initiatives are implemented surrounding in particular Fresh Food from ScratchAttend meetings and termly formal review reports for the clientComplete the unit budgets and forecastsEnsure stock, debt and assets are properly controlledWhat you bring:Experience of managing an overall budget with diverse functional components (i.e. catering, cleaning, etc.)Strong ability to build professional partnerships and communicate at all levels, particularly at senior client levelsHighly effective communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management and organisational skillsComputer literateAble to demonstrate positive attitude to self-development, willingness to learn in role and identify own training needs as appropriateHigh level of self-motivationAbility to set high standards, achievable through striving for continuous improvementFlexible approach to roleAble to successfully implement changes What we offer:£42,500 to £43,000 DOE + Excellent benefits packageWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; its a chance to be part of something greater.Youll belong in a company and team that values you for you; youll act with purpose and have an impact through your everyday actions; and youll be able to thrive in your own way.
