Role Responsibility:

HARD FM MANAGER

Salary: £60,000 - £63,810per annum

Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm

Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE

G4S Facilities Management we have an exciting opportunity for a Hard FM Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis based at Churchill Hospital, Oxford.

We are looking for a driven, hard working and innovative individual to oversee on site hard services delivery, inclusive of assuming roles such as Water RP and Fire RP, depending on business requirements and managing the delivery and overseeing both in-house and outsourced maintenance activities. This role will focus on delivering high-quality services within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Water and Fire RP for the site, or similar - depending on business need.

P&L responsibility and COSHH Coordinator for Site Team.

Resourcing and development of Site Team.

Responsible for compliance of site systems within scope.

Point of contact for contractors not under the instruction of an AP, inclusive of ATW and PTW process.

Ensure meeting contractual SLAs, HTM standards, and all regulatory/statutory standards.

Coordination with the Asset, Lifecycle and Projects Team.

Review and implement safe work systems and coordinate supply chain tasks.

Lead a technical team of CPs and APs to deliver a high level of maintenance, remedial and reactive tasks, inclusive of project work in a healthcare environment across two Hospital PFIs.

To nurture and develop team members to achieve their potential.

Help create and share maintenance plans and guidelines following industry best practices.

Produce subject matter reports to validate service performance, identify risks, and demonstrate effective management.

Recommend implementing initiatives to improve business operations, reduce costs, and gain competitive advantage by identifying best practices internally and externally.

Highlight data benefits for asset management profitability.

Support the life cycle plan and project works influenced by approved submissions.

Ensure accuracy, integrity, and proper workflow management of drawn databases, including archiving and managing team demands.

Serve as the contact for the project team in evaluating maintenance impacts of ‘project and ‘non-maintenance activities, engaging with stakeholders as needed.

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential

5 Years of working in a similar role within a Healthcare setting.

IWFM Level 3 or greater.

IOSH Managing Safely.

Understanding of COSHH.

Experience of managing a team of circa 6 direct reports, P&L responsibility.

Knowledge and experience of HTMs, statutory and regulatory compliance, fire precautions and management.

Experience of implementing and maintaining positive and successful client relationships.

Successful experience of implementing change management processes.

Competence in using IT systems to gather and present data.

Experience of L8 management.

Experience of fire precautions and management.
