• Organisational Prowess: This role demands strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a varied workload, including scheduling approximately 22 meetings per term (full-time equivalent), creating agendas, and minuting meetings.
• Communication Excellence: Exceptional communication and listening skills are crucial for liaising with Headteachers, Chairs of Governors, and advising governors.
• Flexibility and Travel: A willingness to work flexibly is essential, as the role involves attending 1 to 3 evening meetings per week across each term, primarily at schools throughout the East Riding of Yorkshire and Hull. You must be able to travel extensively across the East Riding.
• Agile Working: While based at County Hall Beverley, agile home-based working is available, offering a blend of office and remote work.
