Graduate Internship – Student Journey Directorate
Join the Student Enquiry team at the University of Sunderland in a role that puts you at the very heart of the student experience. As part of our Student Enquiry team, you’ll be the go-to person for thousands of students—helping them navigate all aspects of their student journey from the moment they join us to the moment they walk across the graduation stage and beyond.
This is a fast-paced, front-facing role that offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to make a real impact. Every day brings something new: answering questions, solving problems, and making sure students feel supported, informed and part of the university community. Please note this is an 18-month internship.

We are looking for recent Graduates of the University of Sunderland with a passion for supporting the student experience. You’ll need a strong customer-focused mindset, always aiming to provide the best possible experience for our students. We’re looking for someone who can communicate confidently and clearly, delivering accurate information across multiple channels, ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate an ability to:
1. Think creatively and problem solve
2. Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
3. Be willing to learn and develop new skills
