The Opportunity Adobe is driving strategic growth with global Private Equity (PE), Venture Capital (VC), and Sovereign Wealth (SWF) companies through a new go to market â Adobe Private Capital (APC). We are investing in high-calibre, experienced individuals with a background in managing large scale transformation programs with large corporates, or experience working within a PE firm as an Operating Partner. We are looking for candidates who have a start-up mentality, enthusiasm and resilience backed up by a passion for quality of thinking and execution. As Head of APC EMEA, you will coordinate efforts across the Adobe Digital Experience and Digital Media lines of business. You will work with PE firms to develop impact within Portfolio Companies globally. What youâll do Work with analysts to define priority portfolio companies that can derive significant value from the use of Adobe coordinated technology stack. Lead relationships with Operating Partners in the PE, VC and SWF firms to drive discussion on value levers within the Portfolio Company â leading with industry insights collated from Adobe proprietary sources and external data. Work with a small group of delivery partners to define a roadmap for execution and value realisation. Define and build an effective joint governance model ensuring alignment and sponsorship across the account. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customer and Adobe executives to support priority initiatives and long-term account growth. Drive the adoption of Adobe products and innovations within the portfolio through thoughtful development of business cases that map back to customer priorities. Grow revenues across the business (software, services, and support). Lead and mentor regional account teams to drive value for portfolio companies at a regional level. Coordinate critical customer-facing activities including executive engagement, company visits, briefings, and ideation workshops. Ideate with, and support Adobe marketing functions to drive engagement and events for the PE firms. What you need to succeed Successful engagement will be defined by short-term pipeline generation, medium term value creation for the PE firm through its portfolio, leading to long term retention and growth: Deep experience in both the Software and Services business models with the confirmed ability to structure and negotiate large, multi-faceted agreements. Natural leadership skills, including confidence leveraging senior executives and influencing strategies for leading teams in highly matrixed organizations, galvanising a sense of common purpose. Proven success leading and delivering on enterprise engagements either internal or through a consultancy / PE, VC or SWF firm. A background in enterprise transformation and change management with referenceable supporting examples. Experience leading successful digital transformations for marketing organizations paired with knowledge of the technologies and tactics needed to effectively perform. Deep knowledge of digital transformation trends in the industry and Adobe position relative to those trends. Experience in developing and driving adherence to a multi-layered governance model supporting multiple business functions and IT with engagement across executives, management, steering committees, and PMO functions. Practical knowledge in developing GTM plans between enterprise organizations. An understanding of the competition and how we are positioned against them. A creative, problem-solving approach to evolving business challenges. Job Requirements 10+ years of validated experience in PE, VC, SWF, Technology or Professional Services industries with a consistent track record of exceptional performance. Experience managing high value clients with complex requirements. Outstanding executive presence and presentation skills, with the ability to converse with, encourage and engage C-level executives.
